My husband Rocklin and I have had a web site since 1995. It went through many transitions and we went through lots of money. Let me begin by telling you, we have had and still do have a very beautiful website. Our web designer did a fabulous job with it. Little did we know, it served us basically no function. The only people who saw it was us. Unless you keyed in the site name, it wouldn’t come up in the search engines.
As you may know, Google, Yahoo and MSN are the top 3 search engines. Our website was virtually invisible to them.
When Mark first approached us with his offer to optimize our site we were very skeptical. I contacted my web designer for advice and to make sure it wouldn’t offend her. She immediately said we should do it. She explained that some web masters are merely designers, as she is, and web site optimization can cost thousands. Further research confirmed what she said.

Being one of the newer Lake Havasu RV Parks, other local parks already had a foot up on us in the search engines. We initially hired a local web designer to build our site and after a few months noticed our site still wan't doing well in the major search engines, even for our own business name.
